Refreshing killers? The brochure tells what chemicals we encounter when using air fresheners, and how they should be chosen.

Air fresheners are used to reduce the intensity of odors in the room. Typically, air fresheners smell due to their composition contained in the volatile aromatic substances. 95% of all substances used for the production of fragrances are synthetic organic substances produced from petroleum. What to choose?

What to look for when choosing air fresheners? And is there a reasonable alternative to them?

The brochure has been prepared under the project "Enhancing the competence of non-profit organizations in the management of hazardous chemicals" and funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers.
